This Privacy Policy describes how Blox Labs Inc. ("Playcut", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use Playcut (the "Service") available at playcut.ai and app.playcut.ai.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email, profile photo when you sign up.
• Generation data — prompts, reference images, and outputs you create in the Service.
• Workspace data — folders, brand kits, AI actors, and assets you create.
• Usage data — which features you use, how often, and from which devices.
• Billing data — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process generations through the model providers (Google Veo, Imagen, Gemini, xAI Grok, fal.ai).
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (account, billing, security).
• To send product updates if you've opted in.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and policy violations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only with:

• Model providers (Google, xAI, fal.ai) — to process your generations. Prompts and reference inputs are sent to the relevant provider per your generation request.
• Service providers — payment processing (Stripe), authentication (Clerk), cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage), analytics, error monitoring.
• Legal obligations — when required by law or to protect rights.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and generation data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time via /data-deletion or by emailing contact@playcut.ai.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, encryption at rest, scoped access controls). No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

7. International Transfers

We process data in the United States and may transfer data to other countries where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.

8. Children

Playcut is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice and update the "Last updated" date above.
